Voiceless Shouts, Unruly Arts & Embodied Resistance is an upcoming peer-reviewed digital journal dedicated to the rigorous exploration of embodied knowledge and aesthetic resistance, with a focus on Africana, diasporic, Indigenous, and Global Majority perspectives. The journal centers creative and performative practices as theory-producing sites—archives of history, memory, and political imagination.
Why Voiceless Shouts?
Voiceless Shouts begins from the understanding that some knowledge has never lived only on the page. It lives in bodies, movement, sound, ritual, visuality, spatial practice, and creative acts that refuse silence. The journal creates space for scholarship and creative inquiry that recognizes the arts as theory, the body as archive, and aesthetic resistance as a vital mode of knowledge production.
